Privacy Policy

Purpose and data
News Studio is operated as a personal tool by its owner. It uses YouTube API Services. Depending on permissions explicitly granted, it processes channel identifiers and titles; upload and processing status; video identifiers, titles, descriptions and other selected metadata; video files and thumbnails supplied for delivery; and OAuth access and refresh tokens.
Access and use
The regular uploader requests youtube.upload and youtube.readonly permissions. A separate branding workflow may request the broader youtube permission when the owner explicitly authorizes it. Data is used to deliver selected videos to the authorized channel, verify the destination, check processing, and perform explicitly requested metadata or branding updates. API data is not sold or used for advertising.
Storage and sharing
OAuth credentials are stored in local application files excluded from source control, with restricted file permissions. Delivery checkpoints store channel/video IDs, metadata, file hashes, upload-session references and attempt history to support recovery. These records persist until the operator deletes them; an automatic deletion schedule is not currently implemented.
Video files and selected metadata are sent to Google/YouTube for the requested delivery. The separate production pipeline can use external AI or speech providers to prepare content. This informational website does not receive OAuth tokens or channel data and includes no analytics scripts, tracking cookies or embedded third-party media. The hosting provider may process ordinary request data under its own policies.
Revocation and deletion
Revoke Google access at Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized API access but does not automatically delete previously uploaded YouTube videos or local delivery records. Remove uploaded content through YouTube Studio. To request removal of locally stored authorization or API-derived records, contact the operator below. No specific deletion response time is promised.
Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. News Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
